HARRISBURG, PA, (September 15, 2017) – HB McClure, one of Central Pennsylvania’s fastest-growing and most diverse commercial and residential mechanical contractors, has named Thomas Whalen as chief financial officer. Whalen has 22 years of executive-level financial management experience, most recently as director of finance at Eaton Corporation.
Whalen is a Cornell University graduate who most recently managed all financial activities for the $720M Residential/Wiring Device Division at Eaton Corporation. Whalen also worked at Ingersoll Rand as regional finance manager and Volvo/Mack Trucks as senior financial analyst.

As CFO, Whalen will work closely with HB McClure’s executive team and divisions to analyze financial data and create strategies that will help the company to continue to provide leading service and sustainable growth. Whalen’s primary responsibilities will include accounting, bonding, ESOP administration, IT, and business analysis and planning.
