Harrisburg, PA, (May 15, 2017) – HB Home Service Team Company, one of central Pennsylvania’s fastest-growing and most diverse commercial and mechanical contractor, recently announced that current employee-owner, Sara Kann, has been promoted to the position of Corporate Development Manager.
Kann has been with HB Home Service Team and its Harleysville, PA affiliate IT Landes for 5 years. In February 2012, she was hired by HB Home Service Team to assist with payroll processing. During this time she also supported HB Home Service Team’s conversion to Davisware GlobalEdge, an end-to-end business tool for streamlining and growing companies. She continued to advance at HB Home Service Team, moving into the role of Accounts Receivable Supervisor in 2013, and Accounting Manager of IT Landes in July 2015.
Corporate Development Manager is a new position at HB Home Service Team created to support the company’s growing corporate communications and human resources departments. In this role Kann will be working directly with Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Kyle Seaman, to lead research on new business opportunities as well as supporting the acquisition process from a project management standpoint.

Prior to her career at HB Home Service Team and IT Landes, Kann spent 10 years working in the banking and finance industry. She worked as a teller while studying to get her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications at Chambersburg, PA’s Wilson College. After receiving her degree, she moved to Chicago where she worked as a credit and collections specialist for Navistar Financial Corporation, a financial institution that serves international truck brands and farming equipment.
