HB McClure adds the experienced McClellan to help support new learning management system for company’s growing team of 520 employee-owners
Harrisburg, PA, (February 6, 2017) – HB McClure Company, one of central Pennsylvania’s oldest and most diverse commercial and mechanical contractor, recently brought on Breanne McClellan for the role of Corporate Training and Development. The employee-owned company recently added this position to plan, conduct, and administer internal programs that train employees and improve skills and knowledge.
McClellan joined HB McClure in the fall of 2016 to help the corporate team create and implement HB University (HBU), a new learning management system designed to empower employees to take control over their careers. In this position she will assess educational needs and develop training manuals, online learning modules, and course materials. McClellan will also deliver training to employees using select instructional methods, appoint instructors and vendors to conduct training, and coordinate class enrollment, scheduling and equipment for HBU.

Prior to HB McClure, McClellan served as a Platoon Sergeant in the US Marine Corp, during which she trained and educated her staff in equal opportunity spectrums, participated in equal opportunity military planning, monitored and counseled job performance, and assisted in developing programs to improve productivity. Her educational background includes two Master’s degrees, and she plans to complete her PhD program for Human and Social Services in 2018. She is an active member of the Pi Gamma Mu Honor Society and Tau Upsilon Alpha National Organization for Human Services.
Outside of her career and education, she has three children who are involved in numerous sports. She very much enjoys attending their sporting events and activities.
