Harvey brings years of sales and construction experience to HB McClure to help align company objectives with spending and provide purchasing direction for growth
Harrisburg, PA, (January 23, 2017) – HB McClure Company, one of central Pennsylvania’s oldest and most diverse commercial and mechanical contractor, is pleased to announce the addition of Paul Harvey as Purchasing Manager. In this role, Harvey will implement new purchasing strategies and objectives to supplement company growth for HB McClure as well as IT Landes Company of Harleysville, PA.
“HB McClure has grown significantly in recent years due to several acquisitions, which has created a need for more precise direction and supervision of these acquisitions,” said Robert Whalen, President of HB McClure. “As Purchasing Manager, Paul plans to build on the company’s direction, structure, and provide strategic purchasing direction for current and future growth.”
Harvey brings with him a valuable combination of knowledge in both sales and management. His past work experience includes Director of Sales at New York/Harrisburg based publishing company, PriMedia. More recently, Harvey owned and operated his own residential construction company, Paul Harvey Homes LLC, for the past 15 years. His first-rate understanding of construction, purchasing, management, and ownership make Harvey a valued addition to the HB McClure team.
Outside of his position at HB, Harvey spends his time with his loving wife, Lisa, step-son, Garrett, and German Short-haired Pointer, Lundin. He also enjoys staying active and participating in outdoor activities.
